A Shared Vision for Moor Lane
A shared vision has been developed through engagement with the Moor Lane Working Group and reflects the key themes raised during discussions and site visits to date. It builds on the brief issued by the city of London at project inception and captures a collective ambition for the future of Moor Lane.
The vision provides a guiding framework for the design team as proposals are developed, ensuring that emerging ideas respond to local priorities while aligning with the wider objectives of the city and project partners.
About the Workshop and Workshop Aims
The design team from Urban Movement, New Practice part of Civic and Able Partners will host the workshop.
Using the learnings from engagements so far, Urban Movement, Able Partners and Civic have prepared a set of concept plans. Following a short introductory presentation summarising progress to date and outlining the concept plans, we will invite participants to review the proposals and share their thoughts.
The workshop is an opportunity for participants to express what they like about the plans, what opportunities they believe the designs could offer, any concerns they may have, and any ideas or practical workarounds they would like to suggest strengthening alignment with the shared vision.
All comments will be documented and used to shape the next iteration of the design proposals, ensuring they continue to reflect the needs and aspirations of Moor Lane residents and stakeholders.
If you are unable to attend on 9th April, we would like to offer you each an online opportunity to share comments and thoughts for the design team on the current design.
Please email Becca, Maeve and Marieke to arrange this directly. We will arrange these for the weeks commencing 13th and 20th April and will follow the same workshop format as the in-person opportunity. Comments and input from these sessions will be included in the overall reporting for this engagement period.
