Highway and streetscape improvements for Stewarts Road

The project team: Exterior Architecture, Civic Engineers and New Practice have been commissioned by Wandsworth Borough Council

This project will transform Stewarts Road and a small section of Battersea Park Road, delivering a welcoming, safe and vibrant pedestrian-friendly space at the heart of the neighbourhood.

The aim is to build on the character of this unique location to make a street which is accessible and inclusive, safe, sustainable, biodiverse and green.

You’re Invited:
Drop-In Session

Following engagement throughout 2024-2025, including at Happy Street Festival, the designs for Stewarts Road have been updated!

We’re inviting local residents, businesses, and community members to drop in and view the updated proposals before we move on to the detailed design and construction of the project.

This session is an informal, drop-in opportunity to:

• See the latest version of the designs

• Understand how feedback from earlier engagement has helped shape the proposals

• Ask questions and speak directly with the project team

• Share any final comments on the updated designs

The overall design direction has been developed through previous conversations.
This opportunity is focussed on the final review and sharing information.
